Common questions

How do I cancel my membership?
Memberships are billed through Apple or Google. To cancel, open your device's Subscriptions settings (App Store account or Google Play account) and tap Cancel. Your membership stays active until the end of the paid period.
I didn't receive an event reminder.
Check that notifications are enabled for Society in your phone settings. If you still don't see reminders, write to hello@societyapp.org with the event name.
I need to delete my account.
Open Profile → Settings → Delete account in the app, or email privacy@societyapp.org. Deletion is permanent and processed within 30 days.
How do I report someone?
In the app, tap the user's profile → Report. For urgent matters write directly to hello@societyapp.org.
Can I host an event?
Members can propose Join Me plans straight away. Hosting a programmed event takes a short conversation — write to hello@societyapp.org with your idea.
