Terms of Service

By using Society you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable; the law still applies.

1. Who provides Society

Society is operated by Turuncu Deneyim Organizasyon ve Teknoloji Limited Şirketi, registered in Şişli, İstanbul, Türkiye.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older. Membership is granted at our discretion based on your application.

3. Membership and payments

Memberships are billed monthly or annually through the App Store or Google Play. You may cancel through your store account at any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for the unused portion.

4. Community guidelines

• Use your real name and a recent photo.
• Treat other members with care. No harassment, discrimination or self-promotion.
• Do not screenshot, record or republish content from The Room.
• Honour your RSVPs. Repeated no-shows may pause your membership.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, with refund only where required by law.

5. Events

Events are organised by hosts (members or partners). Society introduces and facilitates; the host is responsible for the event itself. RSVP capacity, location and timing are shown in-app and may change up to 24 hours before the event.

6. Intellectual property

The Society name, logo and product design belong to Turuncu Deneyim Organizasyon ve Teknoloji Limited Şirketi. You retain rights to content you post; you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it within the app for other members.

7. Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is". We do our best but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the membership fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Disputes are resolved by the courts and execution offices of İstanbul (Çağlayan).

9. App Store and Google Play terms

When you download Society from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the following additional terms apply. For the matters they cover, the relevant store's own usage rules also apply.

• This agreement is concluded solely between you and Turuncu Deneyim Organizasyon ve Teknoloji Limited Şirketi. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to it and are not responsible for Society or its content.
• Your licence to use Society is a non-transferable licence to use it on any Apple- or Google-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store and Google Play usage rules.
• We — not Apple or Google — are solely responsible for Society and its content, and for providing any maintenance and support. Apple and Google have no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for Society.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple and Google give no warranty for Society. If Society fails to conform to any applicable warranty, addressing that claim is our sole responsibility.
• We — not Apple or Google — are responsible for addressing any claim relating to Society, including product-liability claims, claims that Society fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer-protection or similar law.
• We — not Apple or Google — are responsible for investigating and resolving any third-party claim that Society, or your possession and use of it, infringes that third party's intellectual-property rights.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist-supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and Google, and their subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and, upon your acceptance, have the right to enforce these terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
• For any question, complaint or claim regarding Society — including those above — contact developer@societyapp.org.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced at least 30 days in advance through the app and by email.
